Luca Caudera · Caudera Consulting

I actually studied political science, Governance and Public Policy in Passau. That sounds far away from AI products, but it isn't: in both cases the question is who decides, by which rules, and how you make sure everyone actually sticks to them.

During my studies I worked in research and portfolio management at DJE Kapital AG. At Dishbrain GmbH I first coordinated projects and later took responsibility for technology and operations. I came into my most recent engagement through a small automation mandate. Step by step, that turned into responsibility for seven products and a team in Germany and Vietnam. Not through a title, but because things got delivered.

What I learned along the way: AI initiatives rarely fail on the technology. They fail because nobody decides what goes live. That is where I come in: one clear path for new ideas, clear owners, documentation people can find, and teams that actually use AI in their daily work.

I am not a developer and I don't pretend to be one. My strength is translating between management, engineering and the business, and the patience to build structures that keep running without me.

I also co-founded Observer Shield, focused on governance for AI agents in regulated environments, and spoke at the AI & Copilot Summit 2026 on AI governance, prompt injection and supply-chain attacks.

  1. Gate 1

    Owner before tool

Every initiative needs a person who decides. Tools come second.

  2. Gate 2

    Gates, not gut feeling

Clear criteria for what goes live. Saying no early is cheaper than fixing late.

  3. Gate 3

    Built to hand over

What I build has to work without me: documented, understood, owned by your team.
